Authors Notes - A Ship

You might notice or you might not, but this is the first of the chronicles that has been written in third person. To be quite honest, this is not intentional and I never realised I made the switch until a few more chronicles later. Maybe the story writer bug bit me suddenly in the night and I was completely transformed, or maybe I was absent minded at the time. I care not to speculate too deeply and just accept that it neither deminishes nor adds to the flavour of these chronicles. It is just different from this point on.

Ohh yeah, and the chronicle itself... I lost my Rupture on an agent mission. I was very proud of that rupture as it had survived many encounters and was also the largest ship I could fly at the time. It was more of a moral blow than an economic one and I wanted to express my sorrow somehow and at the same time explore the natural instict of attachment anyone get to their ships that they keep a long time and that serve them well.
