At every point in a mans life, he wonders how the events of the past, an intangible weave of lives, have crated the life he lives today. I have never considered this in any great depth until this day. These things mean little to mankind when the petty squabbles of old rivalries and the fast paced life of a space pilot take priority from morning break to nights end.

Then I suddenly find the calm of the storm that is my life and many thoughts flood my head as I ponder my destiny in life. In much pacing I realised that many of my forebears must have had at least one moment in their life when they did the same. What revelations had they come to in this short time of life, surrounded by the timelessness of space and planets? My thoughts drifted towards the fabled home of our kin, Earth. The contempt for confinement that man possesses has the power to create great havoc in life, and in some cases, create new life from that chaos. The Eve Gate!

I had never laid eyes upon it in my life though I had read many a book on Astrophysics and Quantum Physics about it's formation and theories of it's collapse. It was true that this was our genesis, our beginning and the root of our lives.

With my free time, I chose to invest wisely and before I knew it I was setting a course of the beginning of our lives in Eve. Something was compelling me to go there, I was drawn to it. Not as a mere scientific inquisition, I had no desire to go there and take gravimetric readings for the good of scientific discovery. I packed my ship, a Gallente Thorax named "The Jaded Soul", with anything I thought I would need and set a course from Pator.

I knew the voyage might be difficult as I have to pass through the throne worlds of the Amarr. Given all the recent tension with the recent passing of the emperor and the challenge of succession, they might not take kindly to a Minmatar making their way to the seat of our heritage. And the galactic map was showing that some deaths had occurred in the system just outside the access systems to the New Eden gate. It was possible that this was a pirate blockade or just some corp wars in the area. However I would find out when I got there.
