This section coveres the gaps in Darius' life between each main story part. As I have mentioned earlier, the affairs of the Solaris book take place in what I like to term as pre-game life. However, these chronicles cover the affairs of Darius in the game itself so I guess you can take the time line with a pinch of salt.

The main thing is that these do not relate much to the main story line in many ways. They might reflect changes in Darius' mood that are witnessed in the main story, and they often give the the ability to flesh out the character more as well as the workings oand goings on that stretch beyond the saga itself.

At first, I started writing these as a first person perspective diary of outstanding events or plain stupidity in my playing of the game. I do like to try and cover dificulties out of game in an in character sort of way. A good example of this being the 'Ghost in the Machine?' chronicle where I detail a run away ship that I had just purchased. This was an actual bug in the game that I had been hit with several times and I thought to make a story about it where I bought a brand new ship, undocked for the first time and found myself already in warp, but going slowly and unable to control the ship until it stops on its own.

Another favourite is the 'How am I supposed to afford a battleship like this?' story where one of the dificulties was not being able to undock. Naturally this was due to a bug too, but why leave it there? Why not create another explination for it and have fun, right?

As I progressed I felt the need to also use the chronicles to cover other issues that affected the game play but did not take part in the game entirely. Read my notes on each chronicle and I will detail the thoughts of madness behind them and I hope you enjoy reading them.
